About Us - The Flame Behind Luvi Arts

At Luvi Arts, we don’t just create art—we ignite stories into wood. As a proud Sri Lankan family of artists with over 25 years of tradition, our passion lies in the ancient craft of wood-burning, also known as pyrography.

Each piece is born from the skilled hands of our founders—Lakshman Dissanayake, Chamini Ranasinghe, and their daughter Imandi Dissanayake—who blend heritage, precision, and emotion into every design. Whether it’s a serene Buddha, a majestic elephant, or a treasured memory turned into a wooden portrait, our art speaks warmth, identity, and soul.

With roots grounded in Sri Lanka and inspiration drawn from around the world, Luvi Arts continues to bring people closer to the beauty of handmade creation.

What We Do

We specialize in handcrafted wood-burning art that captures emotion, tradition, and detail. From custom portraits and scenic designs to traditional Sri Lankan themes like Buddha and elephants, we transform plain wood into timeless, personalized masterpieces. We also offer canvas art, hotel décor, and live art experiences for special events.

A Message from the Founder

As a proud Sri Lankan artist with 25+ years in wood-burning, I’ve devoted my life to transforming simple wood into soulful creations. What started as a personal passion has become a family tradition, lovingly passed to the next generation.

Guided by master craftsmen and shaped by years of art study, my journey blends tradition with heart. Every piece we make at Luvi Arts tells a story etched in flame, alive in wood.

We don’t just burn wood. We ignite emotion, preserve culture, and craft legacies.
